General Information (Important!)

This brief section of the guide includes some of the most important information about the server and outlines changes made that may affect what you decide to do.



Block Protection Changes

In order to limit 'unraidable' bases the following blocks will be destroyed when hit by 3-4 blocks of TNT. This ignores water/lava protection.

• Obsidian
• Fences
• Iron bars
• Glass panes
• Fence gates
• Netherbrick Fences
• Cobblestone fence/wall
• Brewing stand
• Anvil
• Enchantment Table
• Cocoa Beans



Claiming Land
Anything that is within four chunks of something claimed as 'HydraulixSpawn' is likely to be regenerated at any time. This includes claims at both the main spawn and each of the portals. We strongly advise that you make your bases away from such regions in order to avoid your base being lost in the future.

Plugins​

Factions

The main plugin fueling the Hydraulix PvP server is Factions. This plugins allows you to team up with friends (or go solo if you wish) and create a Faction. Once you have created a Faction you can claim land and build yourself an empire - or a modest dirt hut if that is what you prefer! If you own the land, players from other factions cannot build/destroy there without using TNT cannons or creepers.



Faction Ranks

Leader - The owner of the faction. Has access to all commands (can only be one leader)

Moderator - Second in command. Has the ability to claim and unclaim land for the faction and also set faction relationships. (can be many officers)

Member - Regular members without the ability to claim/unclaim or set relationships. (can be many members)



Commands

/f create (factionname) - If you want to create your own faction use this command, replacing (factionname) with the desired name of your faction.

/f claim [radius] - This will claim the current chunk you are standing in for your faction, from bedrock to sky. Enter an optional radius to claim surrounding chunks too.

/f sethome - This command will set the home of the faction to where you are currently standing.

/f home - If you want to return to the faction home, use this command.

/f officer (name) - Promotes the given person to the rank of officer - Will demote them if they are an officer already.

/f disband - Will disband the faction, kicking all players and unclaiming all land.

/f (ally/truce/enemy/neutral) (factionname) - Will set the given relationship to the given faction.

IN GAME UPDATES

Hello,

           As you have probably already seen, we have added a few new updates in game. Such as a new ShopGUI (Easier and mobile) which can be accessible by the command /Shop And you can now sell / buy just about any item from anywhere on the server!

          We have also updated the kits system. We now only offer 1 kit, as the main kit and the starter kit for newbies. Can be accessed every 1 hour and is more OP than usual. /Kit Starter


          If you have heard rumors about a new spawn, then I am here to put those rumors to rest. You heard right! We are aspiring to construct a new spawn (Although my build team has assembled a very elaborate spawn I feel it isn't approbate for such a factions server).

New Network

Title Says It All

Obviously if you have been on the server recently you have noticed the recent name change. Yes! We have joined with a server network. It is a small network but a growing one. There website can be found here! In the near future you may gain the ability to join the server through a server hub with tons of other players! We will still keep the name REITZ Factions and nothing on the server will change other than the name. Thank you for your time! New Concept

We have been deciding on whether we are going to be joining a server network. The network will not effect our Factions server at all what so ever. There will be of no change. There currently is not much news available for us to broadcast to everyone. So for now thank you for reading, and please keep a close on on the website to be notified of any updates that you may see. Thank You!

Update

Due to the ranks being so dead, I have created a new concept! This concept goes as follows:

• Player
• Player+

These Ranks will be replacing Member and Member+. If you are already a Member + then you will automatically receive Player + If there is an issue please contact us via email:

As well as the rank changes there will be a slight change to the Donator package. Instead of receiving the granted $10,000 and promised /gamemode we will be removing those perks. Instead the Donator package will come with $1,000 and the regular commands its always had. Previous donators whom donated when this was not in effect will keep their creative / $$ and will not have to worry. If you are interested in getting creative through donating, the $25 Premium package has included that. This will take effect on April 20th, 2014 (Easter, 420, national weed day)
